Since 1985, Kam Yin Chinese Restaurant has been proudly serving the Waterloo community with comforting, flavourful Chinese and Asian food. Founded by the current owner’s grandfather, Kam Yin has grown from a family restaurant into a local favourite with 40 years of history.
Over the years, Kam Yin has been known for the Chinese cuisine with a focus on consistent taste, generous portions, reliable quality, and friendly service. Whether it is a quick lunch, a family dinner, a combination, a platter or a takeout order, we want every meal to feel satisfying and worth coming back for.
Today, Kam Yin continues to carry on our family tradition while growing with the needs of our customers. In recent years, we have also added traditional Chinese dishes, including Sichuan cuisine, to offer more authentic regional Asian flavours and more choices for our guests.
